Purchasing additional Embryodynamics animations [HOW TO]

You can purchase and download additional animations from within your Embryodynamics Player if you have a standard edition downloaded from the public Embryodynamics web site (if you have a corporate edition, you may not be able to download additional animations). In addition, your Embryodynamics Player must be registered in order to download animations (you cannot download additional animations in 'Demo' mode).

1. Select an animation/collection

Under the Animation tab, click to open 'Other animations available for purchase,' and scroll through the list to find the desired animation/collection. Click on the 'Info' button for a detailed explanation.

tip.gifA collection contains several animations, grouped by theme/specialisation and offered at a discounted price. It is always more cost-effective to buy a collection than to buy separate individual animations.

Click on the 'Buy' button to start the purchasing process:

A new window will open in your default Internet browser and then connect to the Embryodynamics servers and to the PayPal site. Depending on your computer and network access, you may see a blank screen or a message:

Wait for the screen to refresh, which usually takes only seconds. Do not click on any button in that window.

2. Process your payment

Once you are connected to PayPal, you will see the following:

  • On the left side, the animation or collection you are purchasing
  • On the right side, the available payment methods
    • your PayPal account, or
    • your credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Diners)

The payment will be processed by shakok sàrl, which is the operating company for Embryodynamics.

If you have a PayPal account, fill in your details and click on 'Log in':

If you decide to pay by credit card, click on the 'Pay with a debit or credit card' link and then enter your details, if needed, scroll down to complete the form. Click on 'Continue':

Depending on your payment method, you might see additional screens; follow the instructions and complete any missing data. Note that additional charges might be added to your order based on your country. In all cases, review your order details and proceed with the purchase by clicking on the 'Pay Now' button:

It takes a couple of seconds for PayPal to process your payment. Then, you should see an order confirmation:

At this stage, you can close this window; if you click on 'Return to Embryodynamics,' you will be sent to the main Embryodynamics web site. You can download your animation from the Embryodynamics Player software installed on your local computer.

3. Download and install animations

If the triangle in front of 'Animations not yet installed' is already open, click on 'Click to refresh list' in your Embryodynamics Player to reload this window:

If the triangle in front of "Animations not yet installed" is closed, click to open it, and your newly purchased animation will be listed there. Click on the 'Install' button to install the new animation:

If you have purchased a collection, you can decide to download all animations at the same time. This process can take up to an hour, depending on your Internet access. Click on the 'OK' button to download all animations:

If you click on the 'Cancel' button, you will have to either  install each animation individually by clicking on the 'Install' button next to each animation, or close the Embryodynamics Player and launch it again.

Your animations are now ready to use.

You will receive an invoice via email that summarises your purchase. Note that this is the only document you will receive for automated downloads, so keep it for your records:
